There are many reasons someone may choose to blur their face and that's their right to have a profile with their full face showing or not. Stalkers are real and not everyone on the internet respects boundaries. In the same way that clients appreciate discretion, some escorts want to keep their personal lives separate and discreet e.g. students and workers in other jobs. The important thing is doing your research before deciding who you meet and seeking out recommendations from others or reviews if not seeing a full face is an issue. Bait and switch situations don't represent the majority of service providers any more than a few bad clients do.

The natural inclination would be to be suspicious, however from direct experience a lot of the best escorts don’t reveal their face for privacy reasons and still maintain an excellent reputation.

Think you have to use your judgement a bit. Someone not wanting to show their face is understandable, particularly relating to their family, if they have another job, being recognised by neighbours/friends/landlord/hotel staff. Fair to say that some of the best looking girls I've seen don't show their faces. Equally as much, I wouldn't show mine for similar reasons. Like all of these things, you need to use your brain when booking. Think more are prepared to do it these days (assuming the pictures aren't fake, or very old) as things have become more open - tv/film shows "secret diary", "pretty woman" and so on have opened it up a bit, although in fairness it is still considered a behind closed doors profession.
