I had a little trouble like that last time but it turned out it was her thing, apparently, to wait outside for a client but it was all OK in the end and I have had way more frantic searches for the place even after getting the final detail.

Oh no.
I have been that woman twice in my life - to people who booked in advance - and I've done this a long time, so twice isn't big in the scheme of things.

Both times, I really messed up, and I didn't deliberately know I'd done this at the time. Luckily, on both occasions later - after hearing phone messages and working out what went wrong - later i was able to contact the client and make good the inconvenience. thank goodness.

As I've messed up in my life, I am very forgiving of others who mess up.
You never know what's happened.

It is annoying to be stood up when one of us has gone out of our way for the appointment, but I think being forgiving and accepting we don't know why they are no shows because we don't walk in their shes is better than getting riled up about it. Something dreadful may have happened to them.
