Insisting SP's post full face images or risk deactivation!

Apologies if this has been discussed already. I’ve searched but didn’t see anything.

I’ve heard today, from 2 SPs, that AW has told them they have to upload a full face picture without any blurring or covering or their account will be deactivated.

Both of them have had their accounts shut down in under 24 hours. It was a progressive thing with firstly their profiles being shown as inactive and being content providers only on the main site and a partial block on the mobile version, and then a complete deactivation.

It seems only to be for non-UK nationals at the moment.

I can imagine various reasons why they might be doing this, pimping, bait & switch, human trafficking etc but it’s happening to legitimate, fully verified, accounts.

It’s potentially quite dangerous if they force independents to publish face images or lose their main source of marketing / income.

Seriously bad news for punters as well if it takes huge numbers of non-UK SPs out of the simple AW search game.

It feels like this ought to be illegal, and is clearly discriminatory, but I can’t think of appropriate laws that would cover it.

It's BS if they force people to show their faces, people are entitled to anonymity, I understand reviewing account where someone makes a complaint after meeting a WG where her profile says 25 and she's like 40 or just completely not the person advertised but forcing all women to openly show their face is wrong.

They are only doing it to non-UK nationals, clear discrimination if you ask me.

Absolutely thats discrimination! if they applied that to the UK nationals which they should, they would loose 90% of the home grown escorts (the discrete ones).

No escort should be forced to show their face on their ads, regardless of nationality. It should always be a matter of choice. You're right though, if I was forced to show my face on my ad on AW, then I absolutely wouldn't advertise on AW.

The same rules should be applied to all regardless of nationality. IMHO

Yes they should and all British national escorts should either post their faces or leave that site in a show of solidarity to their "sisters" that are being discriminated against.

To avoid scams and bait-switch all escorts on any site in order to advertise should be required that in their public gallery there are full unblurred face with full body pictures, in other words show clearly who they are and what they are selling.

To avoid bait and switch and scams all clients should do their research throughly. You think it's a win if you force women against their will to do something they are unwilling to do? Because that's a pretty unpleasant idea.
The number of escorts will drop significantly and then prices will go up too and you'll be boohooing about that.
There is a very simple solution - need to see a face? Book an escort who shows one.

Forcing someone to show a face picture is definitely something I am personally against to.

When I receive a booking most of the time my face pic is asked to be sent and I do it happily (for privacy reason I wear sunglasses just because I encountered many fakes, so "lesson learned"); afterwards the booking is 100% confirmed.
