What is the notice period that you desire or are accustomed to?

I always try to book with at least 48 hours notice. Maybe 3 days but often I'm tempted to leave more.

Is it annoying when a client books for Friday when it's still only Monday? I have a particular day of the week I want to book and if I see the perfect server I don't want to risk her moving on before I can make the appointment.

Or is a previous day booking just about tolerable?

I personally prefer some notice, so we're more likely to meet on the required day with some planning.

As a service provider, I can tell you that I much prefer advanced bookings so that I can plan my life around them.

I do take bookings weeks in advance, and that's it - set in stone - my schedule is blanked out for that morning or afternoon.

However, I also find that the majority who book more than ABOUT one week ahead frequently rearrange their appointment times and then cancel closer to the date.
This admin isn't a problem for me - I have it all automated. However, I can understand why most women won't take advanced bookings if they are handling everything manually and receiving a lot of enquiries. It is a waste of time.

People who have visited me before are much more reliable, of course and often book more than 1 week ahead.
But for people I have never seen, they often will cancel even if they only booked a few days earlier, so there is that too.

Therefore, it makes sense that many women will only book people 24 hours ahead of time - blame it on the other guys who are window shopping, wasting everyone's time, and spoiling things for everyone.
